Optimus Shine

Well the pictures are a bit dark.... but I think you'll get the point. I made 3 of these shirts for Shinerama; 2 for team leaders (myself and a friend who was also a co-coordinator of the event at our university) and 1 other tee that was raffled off.
The front says "Shiners in disguise" with the Shinerama "S" logo and the back has an orange and blue "Optimus Shine". Although not visible, on the sleeve it says "Shinerama".
These shirts were all free-hand painted with fabric paint and bleach (not to mention worked on until 4AM!!! eek!) The reason "Optimus Shine" is in blue and orange is because these are the traditional Shinerama colours!

Shinerama, for those that do not know, is a fund raising event held at universities and other post-secondary institutions across Canada. The event is the largest post-secondary fund raising event in the country and all the funds go to research for Cystic Fibrosis, a disease that mainly affects the lungs of children, but causes many other health problems, such as diabetes. The average life expectancy today of someone with CF is around 40 years old; there was a time that children diagnosed with CF were not expected to live past the first few years of their life.
